First Bimmer - What an Upgrade!

I am now the proud owner of a 2002 330Ci with just over 112k miles; it's my first Bimmer and will definitely not be my last. For some back story, I've been driving the same car since I got my license 8 years ago - a 1988 Jeep Cherokee. It had 290k miles on it and was going to have more until I locked up the tires in the rain and rear ended an ML500 that had swerved to avoid another car. The Jeep was totaled and my other car isn't exactly up for daily commutes to DC ('49 CJ3A), so I lucked out and found the E46 at a local dealership. It's got some minor interior issues (A and C pillar fabric is coming loose) and I'll need those dreaded door edge seals, but the engine compartment is very clean and it's a blast to drive. Having lurked on here for the past few days I'm excited to be a part of this fanatic community!

Welcome to the forum

Car looks really clean - well done. Sport Package & xenons - two must haves on these cars. Looks like a prior owner installed the M3 trunk lip as well.

Enjoy your new car.

Thanks - I'm taking the precaution of flushing the trans and replacing the water pump/fuel filter and plugs next week.
