Go into a cat scan machine like the one below without telling them you have magnets on your finger tips and post back here the results. Just a heads up...before you go download a software that types while you speak cause youll probably wont be able to use your finger to type anymore.

valid point, hence the MRI concern. At worst it could pinch the skin and kill the tissue.

They dont have a example of magnets on your finger tips....but you get the idea.

I've been typing fine since I pulled the stitches yesterday. Again, I did my homework and made sure they wouldn't interfere with anything in my daily life before I decided to have it done. And like I said before, they won't interfere with x-rays (read: CAT scan) at all. The only medical concern I have is an MRI, which uses a ridiculously strong magnetic field for imaging. But even if I need an MRI my hand can be shielded.

They've gotten more sensitive over the past few months as the tissue has gotten softer/back to normal. I don't regret it at all and I'm constantly reminded of them at random times throughout the day when I come close to an electric field. Light switches carry more current than I would have thought...

Another uncomfortable experience, which I quickly learned to avoid, was handling other magnets in such a way that they flipped the magnet inside my finger.

I'm going to carry a old hard drive magnet and flip the crap out of cow moo's magnet
