It worked out. I attached paracord to it anyways, just in case it did fall off.

Still playing around with mounting locations and editing. After not editing for 1-2 years, I basically forgot how to do everything.

What are good pole set ups (possibly ones that I can DIY) for mounting the gopros onto on the outside of the car?

broke my second GoPro Black3 on my snowboard trip to fernie... wifi button on the case got stuck then fell out and in result pushed the wifi button into the camera, same thing happened to my last one... huge design flaw imo... 2 gopros in 2 months when all my other ones have lasted years.... pretty ****ing shitty if you ask me.

Just grabbed a go pro black last night with misc mounts and an extra battery
Anyways i now need a memory card so can someone tell me how long a 16 gb card will last on highest resolution ???

I've said it elsewhere on this forum, but anyone interested in racing should watch Dust To Glory. Its a great look at the Baja 1000.

So i returned my gopro black edition due to the freezing issue, got a new one....guess what? the new one freezes also, but even worst.

going to return it AGAIN, and hopefully get a new one.

No i do not recommend buying this piece of ****.

Just got back from a week's fishing in the middle of nowhere (Musandam in Oman to be precise). The SD card I took with me for the Go Pro was reading as an SD error on the Go Pro's screen - formatted the card in my laptop but no dice. Got some great pics on my point and shoot camera but gutted that I couldn't get the damn GP to work. Back home and the card works in my laptop but not in my Go Pro - any ideas as to WTF is happening? Card is a PNY 32GB in a Hero 2.

format on your computer, throw it in the goproshitbox, get a sdd error, go to settings, trash icon, and format all. fixed

i really hate this product

wrote GoPro a big letter today... such bull. now that they have people sponsored and cameras all over, they care so much less about quality and customer care... you can exchange your gopro till your blue in the face, all these blacks will freeze. or else the wi-fi button will get stuck...

I'm jumping ship and going with the HD drift. **** this nonsense with GP.

Same thing happened to me, had to format through the go pro and it worked.

That sucks, why not stick with the Hero 2? I haven't had any issues with that

this is also a good option.

I'm curious what specifically it is that causes the black to be so problematic? Just asking too much out of a small processor to encode that much video data? Do the files not get corrupted if you try recording at a lower quality?
