Is he right that it will fit any e46 vert? We have considered one for our 2002 AW vert. Great looking car btw.

Yep, the E46 hardtops will fit all E46's. You will need to get a prep kit if you vert doesn't already have one installed. Just check to make sure it's in good shape. you should be able to get it painted to match whatever your color is for about $500 if that's needed.

I think thay all came with a black head liner, so there' wasn't a matching interior.

My bad then....the one I have is a black shade....the replacement in Penskeparts.com calls out the headliner as "MOLDED ROOF LINING - ANTHRAZIT"....which translates as a charcoal. Mine is pretty black, so I assumed they only made one color. I guess I was wrong, as I have not seen a gray, or at least what I would call gray.

Should be able to get it re wrapped for around $100. I had to do that with my OEM hardtop as the headliner was sagging.

I don't think its that big of an issue if it doesn't match your current interior, it is afterall a removable hard top.

Yea, I get that it comes off the car, thanks, lol. Well gf isn't interested atm with summer coming up and an impending move, she doesnt want to fool with hardtop. She loves the top down.
