For a vert or coupe? I couldn't really understand your first post.

Its a coupe . Sorry for the confusion. The bsw link show a vert which mine is not. Just thought I'd ask before ripping the interior out.

My coupe, non-nav has the HK amp left side in trunk under side wall carpeting. Just lift out the base carpet and the solid-ish panel below that (exposing the M-mobile air pump), then take out the 4 pegs (2 on the black tray and 2 in the carpet panel). Unclip the left trunk light (brake light/signal bulb carrier). You should then be able to bend back the side carpeting and see and access the amp. Fold the seat down and you I think you can remove the side carpet section with a little tugging. That is, I think there are no more anchors, but I cannot recall completely (I think it just wraps behind the closed seat a little bit). Well, don't yank too hard without looking to see how it's secured.
I'd be surprised if the Nav version has the amplifier anyplace else. Isn't the disc changer right there? I think the amplifier is on a metal shelf along with the changer.
