FS Sprint Booster!!

Hey guys,

I'm selling my sprint booster that I just got from ECS Tuning last week. The thing is absolutely amazing. It feels like a whole new car with it! The reason I'm selling it is because I just bought the Active Autowerke tune for my car and apparently what the sprint booster does, is included in the tune. I can't return it to ECS because I threw the box away. It has about 1.5 hours use on it and I've already removed it. So it's pretty much brand new.

I'll let it go for $250 with free shipping!

Any takers?

Have you installed the AA time yet? If you have, in your opinion does it replicate the Sprint boosters function in addition to the hp boost

Kinda off topic but is this where you bought the active autowerke tune? How does it perform? Is it worth $700?

honestly, when i had the base tune, the booster still helped. it's really not the same thing, the booster gives you quicker response, even with the tune.

just my .02 cents

No, not yet. I should have the tune by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. I'll let you guys know when I get it and tell you how it is. The sprint booster is pretty dang awesome IMO.

No, buy it off their website. Activeautowerke.com

That price must be wrong. My tune cost $499

So you do have the AA tune? I might keep my booster then if it still helps. The guys at AA said it would make my throttle over touchy. He said that their tune raises the throttle response by 15% and the booster does about 17%. And he said those combined would make the car kinda go haywire.

But if you think it still helps and doesn't make the throttle go nuts then I'll give it a shot. It won't hurt anything.

You could still use it. I have the AA tune with the SB and the SB still helps out the feel A LOT.

The AA tune provides better power/response. Not dramatic, but it's an improvement.

The SB provides better throttle feel. It's not HP, but it feels faster, as it amplifies the signal to the computer, making it seem like your pressing the throttle down harder. It eliminates the drive by wire lag. The AA tune doesn't do that (unless they changed something since I got my tune).

One does not negate the other.

That's really good to know and an ease on the wallet since I don't feel like I'm wasting my money now. It's nice to hear it from someone other than AA

My Ride: spins too much
that AA tune will not do what the sprint boosters do, -_- all tuners/programmers say that but its all BS, get the tune, and then try it with the SB..

This is the DIY tune, I think the one off their site you have to send your DME to them.

Update: the software tune works really well with the sprint booster so I will be keeping it. It's sooo fun to drive now!
