Changing steering wheels in 30 degree weather sucks but I got my new steering wheel mounted tonight

Now I know how my OE alcantara steering wheel felt brand new

I will get better quality day time pics over the weekend!

Thanks! Coby wheel does an awesome job with their rewrap. You can get your M wheel rewrapped to alcantara. I am still amazed by the quality of this wheel and having gone with the red stitching will really blend in well with my Imola ZHP

It looks beautiful!
But how long it will last for?
Touch the steering wheel only with gloves?
Here are options for the design!

If cared for properly, and cleaned, it should last for a long time. The last time BMW replaced mine was at least 3 (probably more) years ago, I don't drive with gloves and mine looks great after I recently learned how to properly clean alcantara...

Hard part is finding a template to put the BMW Performance on the alcantara just like in the pic. I agree that if you can find someone who is good at doing rewraps, this can easily be done. Not my cup of tea though...

For those who have been following my ZHP project thread....in a few weeks after I return from my business traveling schedule, the first thing I will be doing is installing new coil overs to refresh my already worn suspension. The ZHP will feel so much better after doing this... Carbon fiber engine covers will be the next thing I will be working on since the weather will be getting warmer soon More to follow, for sure!

I will be sure to take pics while the install of the new coilovers are being done. Looking forward to dropping the ZHP another inch....love the look of a lowered sedan....not necessarily a slammed one since the roads up here in New England are not the best for slammed cars....
