225/40 or 35 On 18x9 Questions

Ive been doing some research and I want to make sure 100% sure i know what setup I should go with before making my purchase. That being said, I have a few questions.

The rims are 18x9 et 35. Will there be any fitment problems if I were to run 225/40 tires on a lowered suspension? How about 225/35? It will be a modest drop on some sport springs. Probably a little lower than stock sport suspension. Will there be any fender rubbing? Or any contact with the struts? Which tire size is my best bet guys?

Tire wise, I'm looking at Pirelli P Zero Rosso's or Kumho Ecsta LE Sport. They're basically the same price, but right now tire rack has a $60 mail in rebate special on the Pirellis. Anyone have experience with either tire?

225/35/18 is too short. Have you done any fender work? Are you planning on doing any fender work?

You would need 40 profile not 35's.

A 40 profile is a taller tire than a 35 profile. 35 profile will throw off your speedometer.

I ran 225/40 on my m3 rears all round.

Perfect in my opinion, not too much stretch and enough sidewall not too look under wheeled

Yep, standard 18" M3 rears all round, with 5mm spacers on the rear

Happen to know how much camber you're running up front?
