Just had some black kid on the street comment as I walked by
"Homie got MONEY action..." ???? (Emphasis on money and dragged it out a bit)
as he looked at my suit and shoes
Something like that ... I have no idea what that means but I guess it's a good thing? I hope I don't get jacked

I went to the gym tonight for the first time in something like a year. I will be sad and sorry tomorrow, no doubt.

So you can hear the voice and intonation in your head
Typed words cannot convey that

That thing is big, but is a really classic looking design. I love Hamilton watches...

44 does look big perhaps a good contrasting band? I'm more of a 40-42 at most for my wrist but I think certain 44's would work as well.

Nice. What areas of practice will the firm offer? What's going to be your area of focus?

Very nice. I don't think I could pull off that large of a watch.

I'll go for a walk today with the dogs, and then tomorrow I'll start off with a few minutes on the elliptical to slosh the lactic acid out of my puny muscles. Hopefully that will work for me.

Anybody else see irony in the fact that the call-out was for pointing out the person's race and not for saying he hoped he didn't get mugged?

robbing with a sword is a good thing

isn't it one and the same? if a white or asian kid said "that guy's got money." he wouldn't have felt the same discomfort.

I didn't feel discomfort at all
There were two teenagers on the street with their skateboards
One was white or hispanic and the other was black
The black kid is the one who said, "he's got money action" ... an odd expression I had never heard before
Before that he said something about the suit ... "and the shoes........."
I posted here because it was weird and funny and sort of related to suiting up

If a white brown yellow red or green person has said "homie got money action"
I would have said the same thing
