DRL wire tap

Hi Guys,

In Canada we need to run our HB at a lower wattage while the headlights are off. Once the low beams are turned on, DRL's turn off. I am currently running my halos to the ECU so they are when the car is on, but I want them to turn off once my low beams turn on. Is there a way to do this...does anyone know where the DRL wire is to piggyback?

P.S...I have disabled my DRL's so I wouldn't get the yellow bulb look...will I need to turn them back on in order for this entire thing to work, or does disabling them just turn them off at the bulb and not the entire wiring assembly?

You can't unless you put in a switch to control the angel eyes.

You'd need to wire up a n/c relay and probably use the low beam to trigger it to turn off...

Send a message via AIM to sillieidiot
^ pretty much what he said. need a new relay. the easiest way would be to turn your DRLs back on and tap it to the high beam wire
