ok sorry, but, this is the first time im really messing around with my audio. i can't stand the music on the radio these days -_-. Anyways, i have a bmw 325ci 2002. i tried the DF-BMW from USA SPEC. but now that i guess its so badly outdated, they dont even support it with USA SPEC Tech Support. So, i think that i want to go with the Pa12 now, since it has both aux and ipod. but, theres a DSP and non DSP. and to be honest. i do not know which i need. anybody from this thread, can you help? thanks. it means a lot

if your radio has the dsp button then you will need the dsp version. if it doesnt have the dsp button then use the non dsp model.... good luck

Lots of confusion out there about this...

E46 dont have DSP, E39, E38 and E53 had an optional DSP stereo, it was the higher end option and is technically very different from the standard system.

That button is sort of a pseudo DSP thing on the E46. It's nothing more than an EQ setting that gives you more of a spacious sound to the music. BMW calls it spatial enhancement.
