My Ride: 2003 BMW 330i ZHP
The bar ends are squeezed between the two vertical supports by two 8mm bolts. It is incredibly tight and slip resistant. It does not move.
My son stood in the middle of the bar and the bar barely flexed. I may try and get a picture, but he needed me to help support him because the hood is in the way so he could not stand straight up. If I loosened the bolts on one side it would undoubtedly flex down and tough the engine with 1/4 the weight.

tri, Come by the shop any time, but I do not always drive that car. BTW the seats are Sparco's and the mirror is a 5 panel Wink, it is great on the track.
My bad about the sparcos , I thought they were recaros. But that day was full of VANOS and VCG energy. I didnt really noticed the seats except for the mirrors. I loved the mirrors though. I love the setup you have.

I will try to stop by sometime next week. Got something to do tomorrow and weekend is going to be full of snow, so I am going to stay home.
