Can't decide what to get...

I have an opportunity to purchase a hardtop convertible for my e46 m3. But I was also presented with an opportunity to purchase a CSL bumper and CSL trunk for the vert for a very good price. If you were to pick either one, which would you choose?
Weather where i live mainly consists of rain 6 months out of the year. Rarely snows. Im leaning towards a hardtop just because it looks insanely good, while the CSL look seems to be overdone..

what do you guys think?

here are some pics:

If i choose to buy a hardtop, without the CSL add-ons:

If i decide to get just CSL bumper and CSL Trunk:

Ask yourself what you're going to gain from each one. With the hard top you'll gain better rearward vision, a somewhat quieter ride at highway speeds - in general, a more comfortable interior for you and your passengers. Also, your car will look much better with the hard top on than the soft top up. With the bumper and trunk, all you'll gain is a little bit better look in the rear.

So one gains safety, comfort, and a big aesthetic improvement, while the other merely gains some aesthetic improvement. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

I agree. Hardtop is the answer.

Where are you getting the csl trunk from? Pm me, on vacation without my phone.

I personally don't like the csl bumper, and find the csl trunk doesn't blend well with the vert, yet I'd still take the trunk for the right price!

Just wondering if they offered any other reasons for the trunk and bumper or just because of the looks. Nothing wrong with looks only, of course, but just wondering.

Living in Montreal, I sold my hardtop because my car is stored winters, but if I lived in BC and drove my car pretty much year round, hardtop would be #1 on my list of things to have.

Also, I don't like the look of CSL trunks, but that's just the old fart in me

I agree with the hardtop...6 months of rain! Hardtop make a nice change & stiffer body, less noise for 6 months when you can't put the top down. Buy the top.

that lsb/cinnamon vert looks familiar hrmm

personally i got the hardtop first and then the bumper and trunk.

if you can manage it, i would do the hardtop and trunk. they're both fairly hard to come by.

Forget the trunk. It makes the car look ugly.

Dude, bring your can of plastidip to the RS meet and give it to one of the 100s of Mazda 3 owners with no mods. Then strip that **** off and order the CSL diffuser. You can pickup an unpainted CF diffuser for 2 bills.... yet spend the money and paint it! The painted CSL diffuser is probably the best mod to do to these cars.
