Very well, the 4 door used wranglers are only a couple thousand less than new ones.

2004-2005 Range rover. BMW 4.4 V8 and reliable Seriously though, I have an 04 Rover discovery, and love it. Can be a bit finnicky, but no more than my e46 really. Plus, I take it off road and it does really well.

What about a vw golf r? I am personally considering one for my next car. The hatch may not be the prettiest, but awd, 256hp, cargo room, and cpo certainly make it appealing. It is also easy to mod reliably.

Golf R markups are ridiculous. Granted, it is a fully loaded GTI + awd + basically a stage 1 tune.

Pretty sure it's out of his price range at the moment though. High mileage R32's are sub 15k, but idk how risky the OP is looking to go

Yeah I just realized he said his budget is 15k. Thet mkiv r32 is an awesome car that is pretty reliable as well in your price range. Will not lose a lot of value when you decide to sell it. I dont think the golf r markup is outrageous. A loaded gti is about 30k, so you are paying 5 grand for awd, an improved engine (not only software I believe the turbo and some other minor changes as well), different suspension, brakes, wheels etc. Does not seem that unreasonable to me personally.

And this. There's this guy with suspiciously low miles, but it's at a reputable dealership... Might be worth a trying to get one of these in my range.

People are hating on it, but I had a beautiful Daytona Blue 2004.5 350z enthusiast 6 speed and the car was an absolute pleasure to drive. Also, the 2007+ Altima 3.5 SE's are terrific too...basically what the Maxima used to be.

G37's are nice, but I can't get over how cheap the interior feels compared to the rest of the car.
