Probay double. Don't waste your money on a super expensive bar unless you are doing the fast lifts..... And then get an eleiko

Would you buy a bar dedicated to power lifting or a bar dedicated to oly lifts?

Glight, I know I'm being a PITA but is there a solid bench that you recommend? I can't really find any good sources to start looking, and the Rogue adjustable is more than the rack and bar were together. I checked craigslist but it's all garbage Walmart product.

For a flat bench, rogues is great. I have no need for an adjustable bench though so I have no idea on that unfortunately. I agree that rogues is ridiculously priced. Maybe look into a used one from a commercial gym. I know I wouldn't pay more than 350 for one, but I wouldn't get a chappy one either.... Fine line to tread.

I wouldn't buy a dedicated bar for either one. That rogue bar is good enough for pretty much anything you'll be able to throw at it.

People squat 600+ on that bar and clean and jerk 400+ on it.

You could get a specialty bar, but it won't be much different or better than what you have.

What do you look for in a bench? Personally, don't really like using the adjustable ones for flat.

ya know, I was thinking the same thing. even when I incline light weight (70 db's) the commercial adjustable bench shakes. might end up going with a quality flat for now, and get an incline later
