Yes those wheel specs fall inside the acceptable range on the E46 xi. I'd probably run a squared tire set up vs the staggered set up your proposing.

What again are the reasons not to stagger an xi I have square 18x8 now looking at 19 also style 67 want to stagger if I could? Would it make any diff if I spacered the fronts to same offset? All about wheel rev?

You can run staggered wheels on the Xi BUT you need to maintain rolling circumference with proper tire choice to maintain less than a 3% difference.

Try to keep it square or to less than 1% difference. With those rim sizes, it doesnt make any sense to go staggered as you will see no benefit from it.

Right it's not about any real benefit, just the stance and look. Also I have a friend with an M3 and he has the 19" style 67 he'd have sold me in a staggered set, but I ordered a square setoif the 19 though and a 15mm spacer for the rears.

The wheel size of 18" and the series of "35" wouldn't do any harm on an XI running 225's in the front and 235's in the rear. I think the above replies are being overly cautious. If you run a different series an/or wheel size from front to back then yes, you could have issues depending on the how much of a size difference you go with.

Wheel width is irrelevant. Diameter is what matters.

you either need 225 35 19 & 255 30 19 or 225/235 all the way around. I recommend 235 to get you some more tire and make the car more comfortable
