My Ride: 2003 325 XiT
Exclamation FS 2003 325 XiT all-wheel drive sport wagon

BMW 325 XiT 2003 SportWagon - $6000 (North Hollywood)

steel metallic gray with gray leather interior
All-wheel drive
six speed automatic
sport premium cold weather package
30+ miles per gallon on the highway
New cooling system including serpentine belt and new fan clutch
New fluids all the way around including BMW oil

Last year's upgrades for this car included:
New spark plugs
new tires
new wheels
new brakes, slotted rotors up front
Vanos seals
OFHG gasket
Valve cover gasket
motor mounts
FCAB bushings
SAP system
New belts, pulleys and tensioners.

This car is a magnificent beast. It's the XiT, and it outperformed all the new cars I test drove last week. The engine is very clean and the body and interior are in top shape. This car's records are on CarFax. Clean title. This car is very sporty. Beautiful styling. It's a nimble and responsive all-wheel drive with cozy heated seats and helpful parking sensors. Needs a new head gasket. This car tells it's life story with 135,000 highly-enjoyed miles under its hood.

Contact me for photos of the car. Barbara.singular@gmail.com

Any pics? So the head gasket is blown? Did the car over heat? When did this happen?

How negotiable are you with the price?

Hi there. If you send me your email address I can send pix. I'm a little flexible on the price, as this car is very dear to me and I want it to go to the right person. It still drives ridiculously well. Fast as lightning. Corners like it is on rails. And the styling....my god, this car is so beautiful. I'm going to miss it.

The temp gauge went to red only for about 30 seconds before I turned the car off. This was a month ago. :-) my email address is Barbara.singular@gmail.com. Send me a note and I will send you photos. I'm in North Hollywood. Where are you located?

How is it a 6 speed automatic don't you mean 5 speed or did you swap in a 6 speed unit?

Hiya, that's an excellent question. I don't have the answer because the man I bought the car from last year listed it as a 6-speed automatic. I figured he knew what he was talking about because he's in charge of the fighter jet maintenance program at Edwards AFB. He treated that car like it was his own child.

Interested. PM me with the following:

1. Pictures of the car.
2. Maintenance records.
3. A mechanic's analysis of the head gasket (which shop did the analysis, what did they do, what's the write up)
