Lo jack with early warning and free replacement for $860

I was going to order an oem alarm for my 2006 M3, but inquired about Lo Jack for the heck of it. The person I spoke with said the early warning option would actually eliminate the need for an alarm, because it will track down your car if it moved without the key in the ignition. Plus he added that they are the only one that's monitored by law enforcement. The basic Lo Jack is $560 so they are charging $300 for early warning and free replacement.

I'm not that familiar with Lo Jack and is the price fair? has anyone done this before also? any suggestions or comments will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Bimmerheads!

My uncle had this in his mustang. When his car was stolen they found it about an hour later in some guys garage. It does work and is well worth the money. An M3 isn't easy to still but if you don't mind spending that money it would give you a great piece of mind.
