Driving without a wheel alignment

Hey guys, Ive recently changed all my rear bushes and adjusted my camber front and rear, I havent had a chance to do a wheel alignment yet, tried to this morning but 6 places I went to all refused saying I should have booked.

Anyway, if i drive my car for say 1,000km, is it really going to do that much damage to the tyres or its ok for a couple of months to drive on? I plan on doing it on Tuesday/Wednesday coming but damn, really wanna take my car out today for a long 2-3 hour cruise.

All depends what's out of alignment and by how much.

It wont matter that much. Just means your tires wont wear evenly. But Id arrange to have one done asap after your cruise.

It depends on how badly you need an alignment. you could drive 1000km easy, but your tires could be shot when you get back. I would suggest making one the morning of or morning before your drive.

I got these "hand-me-down" chrome wheels that the previous owner put on the car and I thought for a while that my entire power-steering unit was shot and the whole thing was going to go caput. Got new wheels and a wheel alignment and its all fixed. This story is to say that you should get them balanced or else you will end up with some wonky driving (potentially if you have some pretty cruddy wheels, which you probably dont)

get what balanced? he's talking about getting an alignment. not balancing wheels on tires.

Covering 1,000km in 2-3 hours is probably going to have a bigger impact on your tires than the alignment.
