Angry E46 318i 1.9 Will Not Start

\Can anyone help, My e46 1.9 M43TU engine year 2000 will not start. Ran Ok yesterday, will not start today. Put code reader and Carsoft on it no faults displayed in any modules, Checked plugs wet with fuel, checked HT leads visually ok, checked spark produced by coil on no 1 cylinder yellow spark, not blue like normal spark ignition. Engine not firing. Is it common to lose all coils at same time? thinking this is problem due to yellow spark.

Thanks

Some people lately have mentioned key barrel, starting to sound like security or electrical issue

Fuel Pumps are known to fail on E46s. (I have replaced on both my 325i and 318i). Like your situation, the 325i just stopped working.

Firstly how much fuel have you got. Make sure you have AT LEAST 1/4 tank.
Next remove the rear seat base and listen when you turn the key to position 2. The fuel pump should run for for 4 or 5 secs.
If you can't hear it, could be fuel pump or relay.
Have you changed fuel filter in your time of owning the car?

Come back to us once you have checked these points.

Thanks gents sorted, Had 3 bar at fuel rail as set by bosch regulator however mate reminded me that pressure and flow are related, I law i learnt along time ago, so disconnected my fuel line before filter and check pump pressure and flow these were good. to rule out a partial blockage of the fuel filter i took it out the system by bypassing it with a piece of hose, car started first time. Happy days

Please, say you're planning on replacing the fuel filter. They're so cheap. Especially if you don't need the pressure regulated one.
