i am the same way. My gf thinks this will happen to her hahaa. She squated 3 times in the past 3 weeks for a total of maybe 75 reps and claims her legs grew. I am going to complete rep 1000 in week 5 tonight and I look the same lol.

Alright thanks for all the kind words guys.
I complelty understand what you are all saying. Since I started I am using heavier weights or in my case bands and dumbbells as everyone has suggested. So I can mark that off the list. So my next adjustment needs to be calorie intake. I have a budy that is supper into fitness that suggested to throw some cliff bars into my diet.

This is my question for everyone.
In starting this about 90% of people have told me to eat "cleaner food" so I have. I made my eating plan according to that. Making sure I got my fruit, veggies, meats and grains. But it's like everyone says that my eating plan sucks. I understand I need to eat bigger portions I am makin that adjustment. But are the contents bad? Damn near everything is natural.

Cliffs.
Told to use heavier weights. Now I am.
Told to eat more. Upping portion sizes.
Even added a protein shake for breakfast.

Is this any better?
And I mean I just wanted to cut fat at first and obviously that's changed. I'd love for a bit more muscle. I don't however wanna be over 180. Adam Levine and Ricky Hall are the physic's I'm kinda shooting for.

Again, thanks so much to everyone. It might not seem like I'm listening but I am.

No what you are eating doesn't suck, but the total calorie content is just crazy low.

You need to track your calories or you will fail. Your body is going to tell you "hey I'm full" and you'll think "ok great I'm eating enough". No you will not be. Just like you need to constantly add weight / intensity in the gym so you can get stronger, you need to be stuffing your face with the right foods (you seem to have a decent grasp of that at least) to force your body to get used to that kind of calorie intake. It's going to take at least a couple weeks of this to get comfortable, but you only have yourself to blame for lowering your metabolism so much by essentially starving yourself.

It should be more like this:

Breakfast
5 eggs (whole)
1 cup Oatmeal, banana and Honey

Snack
Protein Bar
Peanut Butter

Lunch
Smuckers Natural PeanutButter & Bananna Sandwhich (this isn't doing you any favours, eat some meat instead... at least 12oz)
Iceburg Lettuce and cucumber salad

Snack
1 can Tuna in water.

Dinner
16oz grilled chicken breast w/lemon pepper
Steamed Broccoli W/ Asparagus

Before Bed Protein Shake w/ 2 scoop protien powder 1 Apple 1 Banana and Ice. Mix it with whole milk, at least 2 cups.

Honestly I dont think I can eat eggs anymore. They give me so much gas after lunch it isnt even a joke.

Thinking of maybe doing Pancakes Or waffles instead.

1 cup oats
1/2 cup low-fat cottage cheese (or Greek yogurt)
1/2 scoop vanilla whey protein
1 banana (mashed)
1 egg
1 egg white
1 tbsp. stevia
Cinnamon

Makes 3 servings. Each serving has:
210 calories
4.5g fat
29.8g carbs
15g protein

630 calories to start the day sounds good to me.

I rolled out of bed and had a 900 calorie protein shake. 2 hours later I ate 2 tuna fish sandwiches (lent).

1 egg white 16
1 tbsp. stevia 0

Thats 770 Caloriesfor Breakfast

Snack.
Clif Bar 240

Lunch.
Sandwich 245
Salad w/Dressing 116
361 Calories

Snack.

something is wrong with your tracking

16oz of chicken breast is 360 calories, I know that off the top of my head without having to check. You honestly think a pound of chicken is 97 calories?

1/2 scoop of vanilla protein is NOT 200 calories!

Those were the standouts

The good news is you are missing calories, not overestimating.

And yes, that is healthy and much higher in calories.

A pound has 453 grams, from your link 140g of chicken breast has 230cal.

Read the nutrition label carefully next time especially serving size. What dabears said is right, a pound of chicken breast has about 700 calories.
