So, I just want to say that I completely wrecked myself the other day and I couldn't drive for 30 minutes. I was in a rush, and I only had 20 minutes to hit the gym and bounce to my next destination. I figured, "Okay, I guess I'll do another 50 rep timed workout because it's fast and efficient". My weapon of choice: the front squat. My previous best was 50 reps in about 6:20, so I decided to attempt to beat that time. I warmed up with 3 sets of 5 @ 135 lbs. and then proceeded to engage in "Operation Kill Thyself". I slapped 225 lbs. on the bar, set my iPhone stopwatch and proceeded to go at. Five minutes and 25 seconds later, I was finished.....raining sweat and breathing profusely. Then it happened.......

......I felt wobbly and had to sit/lay down. Damn it! I had killed my legs to the point that I literally couldn't get up. I laid on a yoga mat for nearly 30 minutes until my body finished convulsing. Suffice it to say, I was late to my next destination. I can't wait to do that again!

So do you rack/unrack for every set on your deadlifts? Just curious why you go up/down/up in your weight.

yea I'll take a plate off/add one on after each set and rest between. Just playing around and doing something different.

I gotcha. Let me know how it goes. I'd at least have the luxury of setting up two barbells and walking from one to the other

I should have two other guys with me tonight so it wont be a big deal. I'd rather swap one plate each side every few minutes then load and carry 500+ lbs and hog sh1t at a gym lol.
