Looks like the hidden menu for RPMs--interesting. I would disconnect the battery as suggested, then do the ign swtich as suggested in your other thread.

There must be a short somewhere, check the wires around the ignition switch
first, wiggle the wires.

I'd say they're the same issue. A parasitic draw test would probably point you in the right direction. Inspecting grounds is a good suggestion.

I've checked and cleaned all ground connections. I just noticed today while driving. I had my OBC computer on the mpg function cruising on the highway. But strangely, I heard a beep, and looked down and the temperature was now on my OBC computer....(as if I started the car) weird...

That happens any time it drops below 37 degrees F. Did you install your new ign switch?

not yet I just picked it up today from Keeler BMW. I'll do it in the morning following some more testing. I already checked fuse 67 and 14 which was another mentioned to me (immobilizer)

No. When I went to autozone for the code reader, it only reads the engine/transmission and air/fuel diagnostics. Mine was the computer issue of the LCM still sending power to the various units when I took the key out. Apparently, you can buy a used LCM but u cannot recode it to another used car, but if you install it anyway, the headlights/turning signals won't be nearly as bright as before. In my case, that's the price for a new LCM coded with my car and now everything is fine. Time for 10000K xenon kit with my projector lens.
