he doesn't have to. That's what e46 OT is for

Don't get defensive b/c you made a blanket comment, saying "everybody" was around your age, and were proven incorrect

Kid, I strongly believe he would shove those words in your face with his fist, if he saw you in real life.

Go act your age and be silly or something. You're trying too hard to be a grown up.

Sad story but we've seen this all before, a very young person behind the wheel of a 500hp+ machine usually doesn't end up good. One question though, the article shows a pic of the M5 the same day it happened covered in snow, I just hope he wasn't riding on summer tires.

That picture was taken before, not the same day.

Damn I guess this thread really hit close to home for a few peeps. Makes sense given it was an M in the DC area. Wouldn't be surprised if that kid lurked in this forum from time to time. But yeah, he died doing something illegal so he will get hated on even though most of us have lived to tell the tale. Not bad for him to live life nor for us older people to hate on that action.

I still think one thing being overlooked that has caused some of us to incorrectly raise the degree of hate is that the kid was driving this car since 2009 and this was the first time he appeared to cause any major trouble. So I might have earlier passed judgement but now soften my tone and feel for the loss of family and friends. Bottom line is no other cars were involved and no one else died. RIP. innallillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun

oh of course - i'm not defending the activity at all.
I just wanted to point out that this could have happened with ANY car, and just because it was an M5 doesn't make it any less tragic, even if he shouldn't have had the car to begin with. some people on here seem to be just dismissing the event by saying "young kid, fast car ... no surprise, stupid parents"

I might adjust my language a little, but I'd have no problem conveying the same statement to your face. Seriously, grow up.
