use a semi auto glock with a high capacity magazine and you are probably looking at 12 dead with the gunman killing himself.

too bad gun nuts with small dicks can't see the difference.
Pretty much my thoughts exactly. Still wonder how he got 12 people though. Were they trying to save each other and got caught in the cross slashing? Throwing knives maybe

seems that he was running around slashing at people, so he had already cut them before they even knew it was coming.

Was the person who apprehended him armed? What was he armed with?

Its only a matter of time until someone does this with a car. Start thinking of your "come back" attack comments against gun owners.

It is being reported a student took him down. No gun involved.

You would do yourself a favor if you start educating yourself before making comments. However, you would do the forum a disservice by educating yourself.

I highly doubt that. However, the news seems to report it was an exacto knife style cutter, so "12 stabbed" seems to be a very sensationalized headline.

Well the police press conference just stated 14. So 12 was not sensationalized. How do you doubt what is being report by the news which was relayed to them by the police dept? What world do you live in?

Try educating yourself
http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr...e-data-table-8

Knives are not so non-lethal and if a student was carrying, this idiot would be in the ground and we might not be reading about ANY stabbings

Guns are not a problem in this country. Their "damage" is a pin drop in comparison. You also fail to know that guns SAVE and PREVENT hundreds of thousands of crimes, murders and rapes every year.

And please stop saying "high capacity". You sound like an idiot regurgitating politicians rhetoric. The mags that come with guns are "standard" capacity

Cops swarmed the campus armed with .22 pistols and 1 round magazines. That's all they need for protection

One could say that knives are easier to obtain legally than a handgun, too. Just as deadly if used against unsuspecting civilians in broad day light.

a 29-round .40 caliber magazine is not high capacity? the fvck are you smoking? standard glock 40s are 17 rounds, which is still way too fvcking high. if you need that many bullets to defend yourself, you are a poor shot and deserve to be shot in the face.

What is your metric to determine "high capacity" besides what the media force feeds you?

Do you even have a clue to the time difference it takes to reload two 15 round mags vs. one 30? half a second?
And if you think a bad guy reloading gives a good guy time to subdue him.... skip to 9:35

Have you ever even fired a gun? Besides all that, who are YOU to tell someone else what they need to defend themselves. If you want to limit mags to 5-6 rounds, I expect that to be mandatory for everyone, including police and secret service. You agree with that right?
