Did you convert your car to mk 60 dsc?

Did you swap the m3 rear end and re enforce the subframe while u were at it? fuel tank and front end too?

Did you do all the work yourself? Or pay a tech

What car did you swap the s54 into?

Congrats on doing it in a month. My skill set doesn't allow me to do that (I'm not a macanic) nor does my schedule. I would say I spend 5-10 hours a month actually wrenching on my car.

My week days start with work 8-5 then school 6-9. Then study, then sleep then repeat.

If I could spend 40 hrs a week on my car in a professional garage with All the proper tools I'm sure I could have done it faster.

Sorry I'm not keeping up with the speed of the professionals who do this as their job.

I'm just an fanatic who does this as a hobby.

Well someone asked if you had pics or a build thread and u posted a link to a fs thread, sorry if I offended you.

Did you pay them to wire the mk-60 dsc? I'm not trying to sound rude, I honestly want to know because I think that's one thing that makes my car unique. And if others have done it I'm interested what route they took....

Also do you have any lights on the dash? Many people do, Im also hoping to avoid this.

Congrats on doing the wrench turning yourself. How many hours would you guess you spent?

Paying someone to do the wiring could b a good option for many people who want to do the swap but not the wiring. How much did they charge you for the wiring? If you don't mind me asking, I'm just trying to gather info for others interested in doing the swap.

Sorry if I came off the wrong way anyone driving a s54 sedan gets from me!

Does anyone have a pic of a 6 speed (non-smg) ecu box with everything plugged in? I can't seem to find a decent one anywhere.

Edit* I found the pic I needed on sir MITE46's thread

ok i went over to finish up some wiring yesterday and ran into a few problems, i'm hoping you guys can help me out as usual.

Ok the problem is the switch center plug (A169) that goes to the switch block with the heated seat buttons/ sport, dsc. ext. A169 is a 23 pin connector. when i look at the wiring diagram for the ABS/DSC unit plug (A65) i find the 47 pin connector. it says that pin 2 from A169 goes to the DSC/ABS plug A65. and that is how i currently have it wired.. My next problem is that when i looked at another diagram it says that pin 8 from the 8 pin plug (x6011) inside the DME box goes to the same pin 2 in the A169 how is this possible? two wires go to the same place? the diagrams contradict eachother.... anyone have any info on this?

Also in that same 8 pin connector (x6011) inside the DME box pin 7 from x6011 is supposed to go to pin 2 in the 3 pin clutch switch (x10674). I followed Cyberka's info on wiring the clutch switch. and i that did not include runnning a wire to x10674 like the diagrams say....

2 QUESTIONS

1. do i need to add this pin 8 for the clutch switch? or did i somehow bypass that following cyberka's directions by taping into another wire?

2. anyone know for sure where pin 2 for the A169 (switch center) is supposed to go? one diagram says A65 (DSC unit) another says X6011 (plug inside DME box).....??

anyone with any kind of info on this please let me know.

thanks
