2001 BMW E46 Driver Side Window Wind Noise

Hello Fellow Dudes,

My 2001 BMW E46 330i has an annoying wind noise when driving above 45mph. It gets more apparent when cruising on freeway above 70mph. I have changed the door seal and checked the mirror. The problem still hasn't gone away. My BMW certified mechanic said he is not sure either.

Do I need a window adjustment? This really takes away my Farfegnugen!

Fahrvergnügen is for VW's, you're in freude am fahren territory!

My side mirrors make a whistling wind noise, but I only notice it when the windows are down.

Das ist nicht gut!
Next time you was the car, drench the window area, if the air can go through, so can the water. If it's the window, the water will get on the inside of glass.

I have the same noise. It is most likely caused by the window not fully seating into its sill. I am not sure what the fix will be, but I am interested to hear.
