it's like making bread or other things. it's obviously more effort to make, but will save money if you do it regularly. then you have to ask yourself is the convenience of store bought worth the extra cost?

I would say so. It took me 20 minutes to heat the milk to make the starter and that's really the only work that went into it. It's a good way to save money for sure.
