you're probably OK at the front, but id recommend a tire size of 225/40.
fender rolling may be required at the back OR you may opt for a negative camber.

Here's a referrence:
18x8.5 et38 front with 225/40
18x9.0 et45 rear with 255/35
stock sedan fenders and camber
without rubbing.

What front sway bar end links is everyone running? OEM/OE or adjustable?

Thanks!

Seriously guys, no one with a cup-kit has replaced their end-links? Mine are popping at low speed.

I haven't replaced mine.. I have over 15k on my set-up now with no popping noises.

I have thought about end-links though, just haven't gone through with it since there's not that much info on them and I can't really understand all that 'pre-load' stuff.

I'm going to take that as OEM end links should work!

Hey guys, I have a 2001 sedan with M sport suspension and stock M68 wheels.

I would like to get a suitable replacement and lower the car a bit, more than the current sports suspension. Would the sport cupkit ride similar to my current setup?

And from what I've seen in the thread sports will drop it slightly lower than it sits now. has anyone else gone to the sports cup kit from BMW OEM sports suspension?

^ from OEM ZHP suspension it only dropped me 0.5" all around. ZHP's are just slightly lower than regular "sport" suspension. I think you would be happy with this setup, my car rights rougher but I also went up to 19" wheels, which could be the cause in itself.

^ Cheers mate for the feedback. Yeah rough ride is something i am conscious of, don't want to go too rough, our road surfaces a pretty variable here so need to retain that smooth BMW feeling whilst retaining sporty feel. there are almost too many options!!

How do you like the Bilstein Sport Shocks? I am going to order new shocks next month and am leaning toward the Bilsteins.. My H&R Sport springs feel "soft" compared to my ZHP springs. I am hoping the Bilstein sport shock will stiffen her back up..

How's the ride on the sports?

I like the sport shocks as they are firmer than what I previously had. My OE suspension had 140,000mi on them (I've had the car since 120,000mi), so replacement was definitely due. With that said, I like how the car handles. I however cannot compare against what OE originally was. Each person has their own preference on how stiff they want their suspension. I think this is a good replacement to the OE considering cost. I definitely notice the car does not have the body roll it used to have. Again, I had a completely worn out suspension.

BMW wanted $1400 for just springs and shocks/struts. I got H&R + Bilstein Struts/Shocks plus all reinforcement parts for $1400 total. It was worth it for me. Others have suggested Koni Yellows. I could not justify the additional increase.

Hope this helps!

What's up guys? I just got the H&R touring kit for my 2000 323i sport suspension. What did you guys do regarding the bump stops (front and rear)? H&R stated to cut the front bumpstop .75" and N/A for the rear bumpstop?

I would hate to have the front have a nice drop and the rear still up in the air. Any tips for the overall install will be appreciated....the kit is sitting on my floor. Probably do it this weekend lol.

Show off your H&R cup kit.

Thanks man. I installed mine this past weekend along with tie rods. Only thing I couldn't do is the control arms and bushing....need power tools.

The ride is much improved and the ride height is just where I wanted it like when the shock were blown lol.
