I rely on the timely response of the local police to protect me. They have a duty to do so. It says it right on the police car.

This. The law clearly says that breaking in is illegal. What more protection could somebody possibly need? You guys are all paranoid.......

Are you just being sarcastic here? I hope so. Regardless of what it says on the police car, they are NOT obligated to protect you or your family. It went to the supreme court

US Supreme Court decision in Warren v. District of Columbia in 1981, the police do not have the duty to provide protection and services to individuals except under specific assignments

Thatís why having your OWN protection is so important, whether itís a rock, stick, sour milk or a gun

I wanted to get a collapsable stock, but they just went skyrocketing in price since BOB's second term, way more than I am willing to pay.

I will be getting a 7 shell tube next, those are not too bad.
Got the same shotgun. It really is amazing. Mine has iron sights though. Unfortunately, the gun is a little heavy compared to my Remington 870. I use the Remington for skeet shooting and home defense as well.

For home defense, a pump action shotgun is better as just the sound of clearing the chamber is enough for people to sh*t there pants (most not all).

An alarm system, a Browning HP 9mm next to the bed and a shotgun downstairs.

I would chuckle and know that you were not really ready to defend yourself because you 1)don't keep your weapon(s) ready to be used or 2)just wasted a round and 3) just alerted me to your location in the house.

Absolutely sarcastic. I have no intention of ever relying on the police to protect or serve me.

ETA: Except if I move to Minnesota. Then Reedo can protect me and I'll serve him anytime he chooses.

Have you ever smelled assault milk? You unleash that on a burglar and he's going to hightail it right on out of the house. There are already bills in NY, CT, CA, and MA to ban spoiled milk.

Wait- Marlin the firearm? Marlin the fish? or Marlin the Florida baseball player?

Or did the marlin mascot for the Marlins get ahold of a Marlin rifle?
