Suspension upgrade

My 325 has about 160,000 miles and i'm thinking about lowering it. Suggestion(s) needed on whether I should just get springs and put those on my stock shocks (which have never been changed) or get some Raceland coilovers.

Definitely neither of those choices. You'll need to replace your original shocks by now, and if you're going to cheap out with coilovers you might as well just get a cup kit

Look into Street Edge Coilovers. There is a pretty good thread with lots of customer input.
