no power to the radio HELP PLEASE

So I finally got everything to do the double din conversion on my 01 330i. Spent most the day taking the car apart, cutting the air vent box and fitting the head unit. I have the metra connector so I didn't have to splice into my harness. I made al the connections and pluged in the new new unit and nothing happens. So I unplugged everything and grabbed the stock unit and plugged it in. Nothing happens. Checked all fuses. They are all good and have power to them but none of the pins in the connector have any power, Whats going on? Any ideas? I really need help on this one.

Use a multimeter and test your 12V, ignition, and ground wires at the harness behind the radio.

I rechecked the fuses and they are good. I don't hve a multi meter on hand but I have a dummy light and there is no power at the connector.
