For 60k, I could convert a non-M and buy a nice E46 M3...

What they are selling for, and what they are worth, and how much someone is will to pay can be 3 different numbers.

Example (outside of flipping it) I wouldnt give $10k for it.

I sold my E30 M3 to buy a euro M3 convertible back in the day. Wanted one so badly. The sale and import fell through, miss that M3.

Anyway, about five years ago the e30 M3 prices were at their lowest. Bimmer mag just had an article saying prices on e30 M3s are on a steady increase and will only get higher. I agree.

The E30 i sold to my friend three years ago for $2k, he sold it for $5k two weeks ago.
