Resonator rattle during warmup

My car is an 04' 325xi, when I replaced the exhaust with an eisenmann sport muffler, I removed both resonators. Later the drone was driving me nuts around 2k rpm from the deep rumble and tone, so I installed the first resonator back into it. Now while the car warms up I hear a rattle or like maybe tin sound from the resonator for maybe 10 seconds or so and eventually disappears. Could my resonator be damaged? I'm not sure if I should have the exhaust shop check to see if something is inside the resonator, but is there any aftermarket replacement for a resonator if mine is bad? I just want the drone at 2k gone that's all. Aside from that then I'm happy with how the exhaust sounds

Yes, there might a piece of sheetmetal inside the resonator that was not welded properly.
First make sure it's not the exhaust shield. Sometimes changing the exhaust system will cause different vibration and can cause a rattle where there was no rattle before.
