Scavange pump fixed.

Vanos removed.

Drive by wire removed. The oem ecu problem is solved.

18 lbs has been removed due to removing vanos and dbw. Lets see how bad will my turbo's spool time will be due to removing vanos. Since it is a race car i dont really care about low rpms.

I will open a new thread soon with a video hopefully.

Stay tuned

Excuse me for the late reply i was out of the country,

As you know, there is a need for a after market ecu when you put a turbo on car. The aftermarket ecu needs to use the crank, cam sensors to know the engines position. So you can do live mapping which you cannot do on oem ecu.

The problem is that unlike m3's ecu Z4M's ecu is more sensitive and it senses that an other ecu is reading the signal. Then it puts the car to safe mode.

When you delete the vanos and delete the drive by wire the oem ecu has no control over the engine so it cannot give you any problem and you control the engine with your aftermarket ecu.

Downside for my application is the horsepower loss in low rpms. So a little delay in spool.

We will continue to work this week...

Z4M's ecu is a total problem even the fuel system has its own ecu once you delete vanos and dbw the ecu has no power.

Traction system is disabled right now so does the rpm gauge and oil temp gauge.

i already have installed various temp and pressure gauges so no problem for me.
