Well, the first question to ask is what actually need to be replaced? Shocks? Springs? Control arms? Away bar bushings? End links? Everything?

he said everything the whole front suspension so im assuming he meant everything. they were pretty packed so he didn't have much time to explain.

I would be suspicious of a shop that uses blanket statements like that.
Get a 2nd estimate. Some of the work is really easy, no need to pay anybody.

well the problem is that it rattles the steering wheel at 50-70mph and when i brake. he said my suspension was too loose and it could fall out. i honestly didn't think it was that bad on account of him passing me. if it was that bad wound he not fail me? i know for a fact im due for some new springs. idk about the entire front though. I will look into getting a second or even third opinion.

Springs last the life of the car. You probably need control arm bushings, or complete control arms. What is the mileage? Ask them to show you what is worn out with the car on the lift.

help please

Go to another shop, I'm pretty sure you don't have to get your entire front end replaced..

More than likely control arms and control arm bushings, also known as thrust bushings. Haven't done parts shopping recently but expect around $300 if you shop your own. More if you get the shop to purchase your parts. Don't know how many hours shops charge for the work but I assume it is about a 3 hour job by the book. Multiply that by the shop rate.

Or just go to a shop and get a quote. If you don't like it, go to the next shop.
