I just can't buy it. My car saw 99% track miles and 1% street miles, nothing harder on a car then constant 8k rpm's. I would change my oil every 3k-5k miles max and never once had to add a single once of oil in that period and I checked my oil before every single session.

With that said, it's not that I think burning a bit of oil is all that of a bad thing I just don't buy it when people claim that all motors burn oil. If your motor is burning oil than something is not 100% right, it may not be 100% bad but there is something that isn't right.

1. Just put the OEMs on with some better tires and plasti-dip the wheels + (cost of tires)

2. Pay ~$400-$500 to get the 18s powder coated (assuming ~ cost)

3. Sell the OEM 18s + tires for ~$400-$500 and purchase a better lighter aftermarket 18" wheel.
I've seen guys with years and years of experience running oem 18's, there is nothing wrong with that setup. Yeah, lighter would be better but I will put my new car on the fact that you won't tell the difference.

The e92 got a little upgrade today. That air box was really nicely done from the factory. There is a clear passage from that drivers side brake duct up into it, it gets air from the kidneys, and from the hood. It probably breaths great and it sure sounds great too with that intake on the hood.

This is an AFE dry filter. I dont like oiled ones because they screw with electronics and are slightly harder to clean.

We went for a little ride. We both think it got louder.

Speaking of GF-Performance.com, my helmet will be showing some love. I'm also planning on getting some monochromatic silver decals for the front and back bumper like I had on the white car.

Man what is it with women?? Brad maybe you can possibily relate haha... I just got into an argument with the ol' lady about me getting a new DD. I simply asked her opinion and then she starts jumping my ass about why do you need this why cant you just get a cheap honda or toyota or this or that?? Why do you feel the need to get another BMW or something old? Referring to a e36 M3... Idk what the hell just happened??? I get my face bittin off for asking a question about me buying another car with my own money WTF?? Idk man some people have hunting fishing sports shoes shopping sports etc... its cars for me. If I bought a damn geo I would still try to do something to it... Im not sure she realizes how close I was to telling her to GTFO... :| Maybe I picked the wrong female...

....Also to conclude this rant I was told by her during this argument one of my buddies also thinks Im an idiot for doing everything I have to my M3 as it is... WTF??? I guess all I can say is F the haters...
