Big firearm auction coming up 4/30...Class III MGs and other weapons

May have a few guns in here, like garands, that may go for pretty cheap, depending on how many people jump in on this. I'm not affiliated, but will be watching the machine guns very closely.

Cheaper stuff I think, though if one of those M60s or Thompsons isn't getting near where I think they should I'd have to think hard and start looking at my cash reserves.

Right now my eyes are on the Lanchester MK1 and the MP40. I forget the lot numbers. I've wanted an MP40 for a longgggg time and that one is near perfect, but it is expensive. The Lanchester is a 9mm machine gun with an estimate under $6000. If it hovers around $4000 I'll be all over it.

definitely full auto. The "auto" marking is obscured from view by the long part of the selector itself. But that's not even how you really tell. The way that I know it is is the hole drilled for the autosear. Look directly above the selector. See that tiny black circle? That's the autosear hole, where the autosear sits on the inside of the receiver.

EDIT: you can see it best on my M16. Here's the stripped receiver.

David, would you be interested in selling your factory m16's parts?

I want to put mine back to stock, atleast for a while.

Now's the time to get one. The prices have sky rocketed and there only going up. David paid $15k last year, I paid $23k for mine last month.

Nah, I don't think so man. I'd much rather be able to put it back to factory in the future to sell it. Keeping all of it together is crucial for me.

And I actually paid $11,000, not $15,000

You robbed whoever that was. Made off like a bandit. Really clean example of a factory gun.

Yeah, best deal I've ever made. And it was originally supposed to be for $10,000. The guy had another one which I should have bought also.

tailo's is cleaner than mine though
