Oil change, did i mess up ?

Hi guys,

Today i decided it would be a good time for an oil change. I replaced the oil filter and pre-saturated the new filter. Unfortunately, i wasnt paying attention and managed to get some oil in the center hole (approx 100ml) where the oil filter bolt fits in. Did i mess things up ? Will this be an issue ?

Thanks,
Oli

I don't think so. I once ended up pouring more than a little bit down that hole, nothing happened.

If you're concerned, suck what you can out with a turkey baster or something

Re: Oil change, did i mess up ?

It's fine. Not like the new oil needs to be filtered...
