Well I did my good deed for today. My friend came over and mentioned how it sounded like the wheel on his explorer was gonna fall off after he picked it up from the shop and drove around alot today. Sure enough, the lug nuts were just finger tight so I fixed that for him.

Well this weekend I just finished up my off season 'overhaul'. I am expecting an increase in NVH :shifty: here are a list of the recent parts that I have installed while she has been up on jack stands...

- AKG Rear Subframe Reinforcement Kit
- Vibra Technics road Motor Mounts
- AKG 75D Differential Bushings
- AKG 75D FCABs
- AKG 75D Rear Subframe Bushings
- AKG 75D RTABs
- AKG Spherical Bearing RSMs + Reinforcement Plates
- TCK SA Coilovers (500/600) + BW adjustable tie rods

Oh and I also went ahead and upgraded to SS Clutch Cable + SS Brake Lines. Now in a few months I need to decide on new rotors The car isn't 100% off the jack stands. I noticed yesterday one of my exhaust rings was cracked so I am running by BMW after work to pick on up...then its back on the ground for a quick check and see if everything is "A OK" then off for an alignment (Lifetime alignment... so one now and another a week or two down the road after everything settles).

Very nice. I was looking into AKG stuff the other night. I'm thinking about what I need to do or re-do. I have a lot of poly flex but idk how long its been in there. I need to get the car up and take a proper look around and inventory.

Here's the truth about all women. It doesnt matter how much you think they like something, there are only two things they really care about. These are the two things theyve dreamed about their whole lives. One is getting married and the second is having children. The second that something stands in the way of either they will hate it.

She may like it now but once you get to a point where she feels the money you spend on a car could be better spent on a ring she will despise you for every cent you spend.

I just ordered a UUC SSK and some trans / diff fluid. Whenever this stuff shows up I have to drop the trans to replace a TOB . I'm going to replace the guibo, center support bearing and all diff seals while i'm at it.

Anyone ever drop a trans in a M3? Is it that bad?

I have. Word of advice, pull the airbox out in order to get to the top two or three bolts from the engine bay side. At first I tried doing it all from underneath the car, I then spent all of 15 minutes pulling the airbox out and then it took two minutes to get the top bolts out.

Lol... Im missing your point??

Also, Andy not sure if you caught this or not...I think you would need ZCP carriers though... I think they look great, but pretty $$$ it sounds like.

YES, for those you will need the ZCP carriers but PFC does sell an OEM size direct drive rotor. Although the OEM spec ones are not the new V3 rotor tech.

If you had the new PFC ZCP sized Direct Drive rotors, rear Direct drive rotors, PFC pads, and BimmerWorlds brake duct kit you would have the next best thing to a full blown BBK. Some would even argue that would be just as good.

I haven't decided on what I'm going to do with my rotors. I'm not apposed to stepping up to the ZCP sized rotors. I know I would need brackets.

The PFC's (in zcp size) would obviously be the most baller, but they do cost $2000 plus the cost of brackets... that's alot for rotors. Its not like I'm racing or anything, saftey and longevity are my main points with rotors -- I assume anything will be better than my oem blanks I have now.

PFC's in OEM size $1800 - I would just get the csl sized.

OEM ZCP Rotors would cost about $1400 I think - Already spending lots of money, might as well get PFC's

OEM normal sized drilled would run $900 --- are these any good?

OEM Blanks $730

So, OEM Blanks, OEM drilled, or all out baller status PFC's in csl size? The less I spend on brakes the easier MCS 2-way's will be
