And Miss325 that price should be about right for all of them IMO, the demand price for most of them is way too inflated.

Ah well - also looking at a z4m roadster or coupe. Keeping my options opened!
I don't think it would be off the road for as long as you think. Guys are ordering pre-machined bell housings and doing the job in a matter of days..

^ plus if you use your contacts (as I would expect you would have with your rotary build) it should only be days to turn around once it happens.

Caosa it should only take about 1 week to do the subframe + bushings, if you buy an E46 you'll have to do it anyway unless you don't plan on holding onto the car for very long.

Haha yeah that's Shan yuen - classic buy cheap and resell to make a profit. He got that car from an auction to part out. Overpriced parts IMO but if you need anything it's not bad. I remember once he bought a used gear shifter off me for $10 and resold it for $60 - I was pissed haha.

Hope nobody buys that rear damaged rear view mirror, its ready to permanently destroy someone's interior when it leaks all over it. Mine started looking like this about a year ago, straight in the bin and bought one brand new from the US for $450...

Those are insanely overpriced for what they are, but I suppose he's trying to make a business out of it as opposed to making space/helping the community like some others.

$65 for wiper inserts, $110 for 4 screws, $14k for a new subframe... Could've gone to Supercheap and got the blades and screws for $20. Could've written to BMW and got the subframe done for free... Previous owner wasn't the smartest guy but at least he didn't cheap out on maintenance!

Very very curious about the above. Would love more info. My car is going in to local BMW dealer to get AKG bushings put in, and just about every other bushing, bearing etc replaced in the back end. I've told them I want to be present when everything is out so I can do a subframe inspection also. Just wondering, IF they should find a crack, where do I stand? Anyone had any success with BMW Australia doing free full repair. As far as I can tell that involves replacing the coupe floor with the vert floor?

The local BMW dealer I use does good work on my car, I'm just curious about BMW Australia stance on the matter. Do they do the repair for free or not if your subframe is cracked? Anyone here had it done for free, or know of anyone who has? I've read on M3 Cutters heaps of guys in the UK who've had it repaired, BMW UK just fix it...

Anyone know a good place in Sydney that does vinyl wrapping? Saw an epic E60 M5 wrapped in matte white last night. Potentially toying with the idea...
