My Ride: All sorts of cars
TWD - 2013 BMW F30 328i - Hard Body & Nanolex

Car: 2013 BMW F30 328i Sport

Service: Wolf's Hard Body & Nanolex Ultra Nano Sealants

Comments:

-Car covered in heavy contaminants (unfortunately I didn't get any photos of the clay bar)
- Paintwork looked flat prior to detailing
- Heavy stains on the bonnet were almost etched into clearcoat
- After a lengthy decontamination process, the paintwork treated with Wolf's Hard Body
- Wheels treated with Nanolex Ultra
- Owner stated that the car looked better than when he picked it up brand new from BMW (only a few months ago)

Have you used ammo products before? Ammo skins in particular, if so any good?

Thanks

Never used any AMMO products before.

Ammo Skin looks to be a synthetic sealant. I don't know too much about it though, so cannot comment. I guess comparing this to a nano sealant like Wolf's or Nanolex is like comparing apples and oranges...

What exactly is the stuff covering the car in the first picture? What does it do that a wash would not do?

I really have no idea what this stuff is and does.

Con, the foam is a pre-wash solution. We use Autobrite Magi-Foam which goes into the lance with some water. Once sprayed on paintwork it actually loosens dirt and larger particles away from the body and makes it easier to wash with your 2 bucket method. Not always essential, but we have a habit of using it on most of the cars.

Something like this is around 8 hours. Sometimes more!
