1/2in drive electric impact wrench for $39.95 at Harbor Freight tools

This would be a nice thing to have if you don't have an air compressor. It is a corded electric, so it's not as cool as the cordless ones, but it is a low price for something that may come in handy, and it is less than the cordless electrics.
I would not use it for torquing bolts, but it will make wheel removals faster, and may help break some ball joint or exhaust nuts loose.
Check out the reviews too. It has 4 stars, and not the usual 5-6 reviews. It has more than 100 reviews. Its a low cost investment for something that could save you a lot of extra work some day.

This link should include the coupon code for an additional $10 off when you add it to the cart, for a total price of $39.95. If not, then the coupon code is 55974485. Enter it in the coupon code box on the cart view page.

If you would rather have the in-store coupon, PM me your email address, and I will email it to you.

I've got this. It's really great for loosening many stuck bolts on the E46.

My electric impact wrench saved me a couple of times when undoing over-tight bolts, i.e. wheels, steering knuckle, wheel bearing nuts, rear shocks etc.

Wow! 5 positive comments in a row!
I may ask the mods to lock the thread, and call it a day.

Mine came with 4 impact sockets as well, if you're going to invest in such (high torque) wrench, it may be a good idea to buy a set of sockets for the large sizes at least

Hmm, I always thought electric impacts were not worth the cost, but after seeing these reviews I may have to pick this one up. Keep the thoughts coming guys!

Yep, they are great! I do not have that one but it comes in handy, you just have to realize it has limitations and its size kinda limits where you can use it too. Much better than listening to my compressor run lol

Just remember like everything from HF it can be a hit or miss. I have had good luck with all my HF purchases so far. That impact wrench got me thru suspension job, wheel hub, etc...paid for itself already
