I say nothing to you that I would not say to any person in real life. It was not a d1ckhead comment. It was real. People make comments about you because you make it easy (see above) and you get butt hurt about it (see above). I appreciate you taking the time to post in this thread but your post did nothing to answer my questions. You posted to reference your status as a "competitive" golfer. I listen to about 4 people in this sub-forum and less than that in OT. So relax Chase.

I get sh*t on this forum because people are d1cks online and insist on pissing contents and stroking their E-go (electronic ego for those who wouldn't get the reference).

If you ask me, there are FARRRR too many guys on here trying to demonstrate how badass they are.. which tells me they've got napoleon complexes (or maybe just small d1cks).
lol I'm ragging on you just like I would anyone of my friends.

Fair enough fellas.

Wouldn't it be safe to say that banana, complex carbs, and simple carbs would be a solid build up? That and lots of water?

Just trying to help. I'm supposed to do a obstacle run next weekend in richmond so I'm curious

I'd say that's fine. I would make sure it's a few hours earlier than the race. I wouldn't want to be full.

I hear you on that. Had a "800 pound gorilla" from Robeks last weekend prior to a 4 game softball tournament. Halfway through (maybe 3 hours in), felt like sh*t.

Spartan race Saturday

There was beer after. I had a lean shake. Two granola bars and a banana. Also Gatorade energy chews right before. Felt great but was starving after.

Spartan race Saturday

Still a little sore. Ready to get back to training but should take a little time off.

After the race I was freezing. (60 degrees out). I researched and it found out that is what happens when you go super hard. Also I was starving all that day and the next?!? It was an awesome experience. The race highlighted my athleticism not just running. 8ft wall jumps rope climb can't stop me. Had to do 30 burpees twice. Those were tough but got done.

that's cool man. A friend of mine did it a few weeks back and told me about the burpees. How did they work again? If you couldn't get to something at a certain point?

Any obstacle that you did not complete you had to do burpees. There was a official watching you. But they couldnt keep up and I know some people cheated, I saw them. No way I was cheating myself though. I did not complete the traverse wall. It was impossible. Caked with mud. I stepped on and fell right off. I also missed on the spear throw. I hit the bail of hay but it did not stick. So 30 more.

Carbs a hour or so before. I think I ate a banananana and a protein bar before my Zombie Run last year.
