Nice, you swap yourself? Non-Vanos?

reread yourself Structural welding and roll cage were vague comments not associated to any specific vehicle just questions in general.

bitch please. NV first, then Vanos. I liked the NV's character better which is why I'm sitting on some M3 cams for the new motor.

Fine Subframe reinforcement on the e46. Neither car has a cage and I'm gonna keep it that way for awhile.

Reinforcements You should get some metal stock and make rear stut bars since you have access to a welder

Nice, Unless you already have the cams you can get some spare M50 cams and regrind them to shrick specs most time's cheaper then s50/s52 cams.

Actually I don't have access to a welder. Instead, I have access to a goober. I will point at stuff and he will do weldy things to it.

The E46 is mainly a daily driver from this point on, I'm gonna try and keep it nice and civil. Reinforcements are mainly repairing the cracky aftermath of autoxing and tracking it hard while the E30 was down, and for future nate-daily driving shenanigans.

Yeah....maybe if we both go to the meet you can try it out....my shifter bushings are just destroyed....like it's so bad to the point where after this it will feel (dem feels) like a brand new car

And now this weekend I get to tear that nice don't-touch-it-everything-works car apart, cut holes in it and do some structural welding. What could possibly go wrong..

MCR- What about you? I see you on r3v every once in awhile, you seem to drive similar cars.

Ah nice! My shifter's pretty rubbery but I think that's just stock shifter behavior. I kind of want to pick up an autosolutions kit for it to get rid of all the slop, but now that I'm driving the E30 I don't mind getting in the E46 and feeling all its isolation as much

stock M50V feels decently quick at night, I think with cams and a tune it will tide me over until greener pastures present themselves

Yeah....it is just...awful right now. I'm pretty sure the bushings I have now are just destroyed and I get a metal feel in just about every shift

Goobers are just as good depending on how much flail they come with.

Yea, similar as in need of repair Just a stock M20 nothing crazy it's a daily driver, and off course no real funds for worthwhile mods
