Thanks. They're honestly not that bad. I've never cheaped out on maintenance on any of my previous cars, so anything outside of a complete motor rebuild would be routine, lol.

You really should. Hell, after selling the mods off your E46 you're practically halfway to a clean, pampered one such as the one I found

Random detail shot when I took the covers off for a sneak peek. Just a few more weeks to go until she comes out of hibernation!

Also installed the illuminated ZHP knob:

Having owned both an e39 M5 and an e46 330 vert with 18" style 71s I can honestly say I love them both for 2 different reasons but in the end probably equal affections.

eBay. Search for BMW leather key cover (or case).

Exhaust installed!

  • Muffler Delete
  • X-Pipe
  • Dual Resonators
  • 3" Exhaust tips
  • Stock Cats
  • All TIG welded, V bands, all stainless steel and polished.

And what you actually want to see & hear:

Fly-by/driveby video coming soon.

Driving video w/mic placed on rear bumper. Unfortunately, the mic doesn't record low frequencies very well. The sound is much more bassy and deeper than depicted. Compare this with the original video and you can hear the difference in tone lacking in the GoPro recording.

Absolutely gorgeous M5! Love the Imola Red and interior is GORGEOUS! I love my 2003 E39 M5. It is probably my 15th car and I haven't looked at another car at all. I cannot wait to see the progress

.: The E46 is Gone, AND Forgotten. Here's Why ;) :. *long*

Took apart the rear deck to install those pesky extenders for adjusting the rear shocks. Ugh, I wish it was as simple as with the E46. What a massive bitch of a job on the E39!

Time to test out various settings to get the ride just right.

Cleaned the stitching and removed the sheen from the leather to restore OEM texture/grain.
