Slapped a set of style 68's on the touring. Now I can get groceries in extreme style.

* What did you do to/for your E46 today? *

Ordered EE smoked LED tails, smoked side markers, and a z4 3.0 shift lever with a 5 speed zhp knob, the shifter bushing and clip. Can't wait for them to come in!

Here's some pics of my d-din install.
The amps and sub were installed by a shop. The rest was done by me.
I finished the HU last weekend, with some clean up today.
The HU install included the Pioneer F40BT, bluetooth, traffic updates, a rear-view camera, digital TV tuner and iPod connectivty.
I've not yet finished mounting the BT mic, for now it is tucked up where the factory mic would be. Just needs to be properly set in place.
The GPS antenna is also sitting above the headliner, and the two antennas for the TV are under the rear deck. Seems to work well so far.
The TV tuner is mounted where the factory gear was in the trunk.

This was a good time to replace the center console with a Euro tray, which is en route from TMS. For now the iPod cable is sitting where the old phone tray was.

Had to do the airbox mods myself, the Janus kit does not work in right-hand drive cars. Intimidating at first, but took my time and it wasn't so bad.

The next step will be to replace the front speakers with a set of CDT's. The rears are CDT M6's.

Complete cooling system refresh today. .. and Rtab's installed. . (Cooling system consisted of radiator, water pump (the factory pump has a steel impeller but I caught a failure ahead of time-it was weeping), thermostat, new level sensor, temperature sensor, expansion tank and cap, new inlet hoses, two new idler pullies, and Bmw coolant. My radiator had a leak, and a lower connection on the expansion tank was leaking.

Ugh my AC blower speed is not working again, becoming fed up since its summer...FSU is on its way from pelican. Btw when I start my car in the morning I hear this high pitched sound, it goes away when the car drops to idle. Anyone know what this is?

I went to an event at the Dental School I want to go to yesterday. Snapped this in the parking garage, hope she gets to spend A LOT of time there in the coming years...

Went to shoot with my older brother the other day after I fully detailed his e60. Came out spectacular. Excuse the quality of pictures we're new at this. Click image for larger version

Must be the reason why I'm getting 15mpg. But what could it be from? I gotta check it when I get my 1.4.0 scanner. Could it be disa valve, the sound does go away when my car drops to idle.

My Ride: is slow
Did my plugs and the valve cover gasket, well yesterday. Date code on the old VCG was 02/02, original with the car. It was so brittle when I dropped it, it shattered. The original plugs were Bosch, but I replaced them with NGKs.

I thought the jet sound was supposed to be the SAP. If you don't have SES light, then you likely don't have any significant vacuum leaks. At least not enough to justify 15 mpg. Though you live in Hawaii. I can't imagine driving there is very efficient.

secondary air pump. runs when the car just starts and is cold. It's an emissions thing. You moved the camera really close the SAP during the film and the sound got very loud. Sounds like that's where it's coming from.

Yeah my dad accidentally cut the line while doing the vcg. I know about that already.

I stopped by the drugstore for a few items and this guy was heading toward me. I noticed that his head was turned and was scoping out the girl at the Red Box. Needless to say, I hit the horn a few times and he hit me. Luckily, there was a cop across the street and he helped me out. The damage is not bad but how stupid is that guy? He told me that he owned a body shop. The cop looked at him and said, "Sir, I think that he needs a professional". See the girl in the background? Could I have been much closer to the curb? Crazy, you cannot stop it, you can only hope to contain it. Or make it buy you an MTech 2 bumper.
