2003 Oxford Green M3 - Paint Correction

Purchased my M3 in November 2012, finally sold my Imola ZHP. 2003 Oxford Green M3, 43k on the clock. The paint was in solid condition which would provide a great foundation for a detail. I wanted to wait till the end of winter as this is a semi daily driven car.

My good friend Mike was in town for the weekend so we decided to visit Dan @ APEX Detail which is located in the Arena Motors and Signature Car Collection shop in Newark, New Jersey.

Let me start by saying, I'm a firm believer that praise is deserved when due. Dan is very passionate about his work and it showed in the results. He looked the car over and determined what was necessary for a paint correction. I am more than pleased with the work and I would refer any car enthusiast to him.

Don't mind the 4x4 ride height and 18' wheels. Wheels/suspension and a few other items are on the way. Mods only include an FRX HID retrofit from Lightwerkz and OEM LED Amber tail lights, amber corners, and amber side markers.

All Dirty

All soaped up

Notice the swirls and holograms on the hood

Dan did a quick Stage 1 and 2 to give me an idea of what to expect. Look at the green pop!

Finished! Horrible lighting, but looks amazing

Thanks man! I didn't get the interior done as it's in really good condition (black). Plus it'll be ripped out soon for cinnamon, so i'll condition the leather before I install.

Sorry bud, keeping it clean with the OEM hood, but if anything changes i'll keep you in mind Every detail is different depending on what you need, but mine was $600.

I think the second best investment (behind detailing products/equipment, etc.) for automotive detailers is a good photographer.
