Leavenworth Drive June 15th Sat

Putting this up now to make sure everyone can take the appropriate time off to make this drive. This is the biggest euro meet of the year and let's get a good group going this year. details are in the link below. Suggestions on a pre meet so we all can roll in as a group and park together
http://www.leavenworthdrive.com/
a member offered his parking lot at his work which is 5-10 mins away from BCC and i would like to set something up in stone so people will know
1215 120th Ave NE
Bellevue Wa 98005
meet there at at 830 roll out to bcc at 9
Also do not forget your $10 for the entry fee at the gate. The money raised will be donated to the Seattle children's hospital.

I have a suggestion. Meet at the park and ride in Issaquah. Go up Duthie Hill road to Redmond Fall City Road. Go up Ames Lake Road to the West Snoqualmie Valley Road. That will spit us out in Snohomish, hop on Highway 2 and over the pass. A combination of some of the most fun roads around, a very beautiful drive through the valley as well, only a few stoplights to navigate the group through.

Is the route set?
Is it over Highway 2?

I live in Ellensburg, and if it was over I 90 I would join in (but I realize highway 2 is arguably a more scenic route).

Blewett is a nice drive too. It would be a lot more fun in my BMW than my motorhome!

I have no idea on routes but I want to leave before all the vdubs do. Don't really want to get stuck in that traffic jam

I think I'm going to be able to make it as well. Just hoping I can touch the car up a bit before the trip. Trying to decide between fixing the hood and replacing the tires.

Decisions, decisions...

Thanks for the recommendation. That's what I was thinking as well. One of my rear tires is showing cord, so it's definitely time to take care of them. The hood work and the tire install both cost about the same (~$900).

Getting Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

LOL. I can drive the car, I just burn out a little easier than usual. Hahaha.

I called Discount and got the tires on order. Every store in WA is out of stock on the super sports, so they're shipping them from TX. Should have them next week.

Can't wait for all that grip on the way to Leavenworth. Woot!

I haven't made it to a drive yet since getting my car, and missed one I really wanted to go on last summer so this year I am going to make things happen and work on making it to more events. Granted my car isn't anything special (Except to me) I look forward to meeting other people and having a good time.

Never gone, but would consider going this year.. So what was the highlights from previous years, or what could I miss if I didn't go this year? (I am on the fence)
