School me on the E39 M5

GlockMan, that looks like a super clean example; especially for a '00. Noticed your shock tower has no paint code decal either. I wonder if all E39s are like that or both of ours happen to be missing theirs.

It is actually on your hood. Look above the passenger side cabin air filter, should have a paint sticker directly above it on the hood.

Just watch Craigslist. I found a set of facelift OEM hella xenons go for $150 before. Came with ballasts and bulbs, then lenses were in pretty good shape too. Patience is key.

Here's a pic of my e90 with my brother's e39 m5. It is an 03 with 90k on the clock. I can attest to he fact that the car is an absolute pleasure to drive.

Soon I will do a photo shoot of the m5 with my e90 and recent acquisition to the BMW family ('91 e30 318i)

Can't comment on the M but I picked up an 03 530i sport 5 speed last Thursday (sold my 330ci last night ) and my God what a nice car these 5ers are. It is such a step up from the 330. I say do it.
